How do i access my Medicare Rebate and how does it work?

To be eligible for the Medicare rebate, you will be required to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your treating doctor. The rebate for a general psychologist is $98.95 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Their is a gap fee of $120 after the rebate is processed.

How do I access psychological support while on Workers Compensation?

If you are currently on workers compensation and requiring mental health support, you can be referred from your GP or you can contact us via phone or send an email with your Claim Number, Insurer and Case Managers details. We can contact them directly to determine if you have approval for sessions or request approval.

What is your cancelation policy?

As your appointment could be used by someone else, missed appointments with no notice are charged at 100% of the appointment fee for those accessing through mental health care plans or private sessions. Cancelled and rescheduled appointments, where less than 24 hours' notice is given, are charged at 50% of the appointment fee. Please note we can not provide medicare rebates to non-attended appointments. 
For those funded through Workers Compensation of Motor vehicle accident insurance, missed appointments or late cancellations are subject to your insurers policy and in most cases do not attract a fee.

What ages do you support with counselling?

We provide support generally to adult clients and will support clients over the age of 16 unless discussed with our team prior.

Can I use my Private Health cover?

It is best you contact your Private Health care provider to discuss if you are covered for Psychological Counselling from a Registered Psychologist and enquire regarding the number of sessions prior to contacting us.
